We love reading and sharing our customer's proposals and adventures with their jewellery. Joel and Julia's story is fabulous, full of deception (in a nice way) and adrenaline.  Joel's proposal was meticulously planned and perfectly executed!  

Step 1) Establish Julia's ring size

Through our website, Joel ordered a free ring sizer which was posted out to him in Germany.  Deception 1 came when Joel measured her finger to buy a cocktail ring as a birthday gift!  Armed with this information, Joel was able to set about the process of choosing the perfect diamond engagement ring.

Step 2) The engagement ring

Using our website Joel selected a stunning 1ct Oval Diamond. Certified by EGL, this stunning diamond has excellent polish and excellent symmetry.  His order was shipped in plain packaging using Royal Mail's Track and Trace service which ensures fully insured next working day delivery.

Step 3) The Proposal

To surprise Julia with a spectacular proposal Joel booked a hot air balloon ride as another "Birthday Treat". Both were nervous and apprehensive about climbing "into the small wicker basket", and it took them a while to calm down and relax enough to fully enjoy the experience!  Hovering 2000 feet high above Potsdam in Germany, Joel got down on one knee and popped the question!  Of course Julia said Yes!
